Link3 Recruitment is seeking a dedicated full-time long-term SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils within an amazing primary school in NG8, Nottingham. We are ideally looking for someone qualified, with strong behavioural experience, who can provide calm, consistent, and effective support for children with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs
- Implement strategies to support behavioural, emotional, and social needs
- Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive and structured learning environment
- Help deliver tailored interventions and support plans
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Requirements
- Relevant TA or SEN qualification (Level 2/3 or equivalent preferred)
- Experience supporting children with behavioural or complex needs in a school setting
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach suitable for primary-aged pupils
Safeguarding & Compliance
- Right to Work: All candidates must demonstrate a valid Right to Work in the UK.
- DBS: Applicants must hold an Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one prior to starting.
The cost of a DBS will be covered by the applicant.
