Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team.
The hours required are 6:00am to 10:00am each day, the ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and janitorial services, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness. This role is essential in providing a safe and welcoming environment for both staff and visitors.
Duties
- Perform cleaning tasks in various settings, including offices, restrooms, and communal areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors to maintain cleanliness.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including furniture and fixtures.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Clean windows and glass surfaces to ensure clarity and shine.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas that require cleaning or maintenance.
- Good organisational skills to manage time effectively while performing cleaning duties.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with colleagues and management effectively.
