Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs in a cheerful manner.
- Provide product information and answer questions clearly and confidently.
- Support merchandising efforts by organizing displays and ensuring shelves are well-stocked.
- Use upselling techniques to recommend additional items and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Process transactions accurately at the checkout using point-of-sale systems while maintaining phone etiquette.
- Manage time effectively to handle multiple customers during busy periods.
- Keep the sales area clean, organized, and inviting for shoppers.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills to connect with diverse customers and team members.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and balancing tills.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage stock and maintain store presentation.
- Ability to work independently with good time management during weekend shifts.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
