With over £20 million of contracts under management and a strong reputation across the South of England, we continue to grow our Property Services division and are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team based from our Eastleigh Office.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and professional Site Manager to take responsibility for the successful delivery of social housing planned works and minor works projects across the South East, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
The Role
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, leading directly employed operatives and subcontractors whilst maintaining excellent standards of health and safety, quality and customer service.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing planned maintenance, minor works and refurbishment projects within occupied social housing properties.
- Supervising site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently.
- Ensuring projects are completed in accordance with programme requirements, specifications and company standards.
- Carrying out site inspections and quality checks throughout project delivery.
- Monitoring and enforcing Health & Safety compliance across all works.
- Managing site resources including labour, materials, plant and equipment.
- Liaising with residents, clients, housing officers and other stakeholders to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Identifying and resolving operational issues to minimise delays and maintain programme performance.
- Maintaining accurate site records, progress reports and photographic evidence.
- Supporting contract performance against programme, quality and customer satisfaction targets.
- Ensuring all works comply with relevant legislation, regulations and company procedures.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in construction and property services, ideally within the social housing sector. You will be a proactive leader with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders whilst maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Site Manager role.
- Strong construction and refurbishment knowledge.
- Experience managing planned maintenance, refurbishment, kitchen and bathroom programmes or similar works within social housing.
- Experience supervising directly employed operatives and subcontractors.
- Excellent organisational and programme management skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop site teams.
- Experience working within occupied residential environments.
- A thorough understanding of Health & Safety legislation and best practice.
- Competence in producing and reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
- Strong IT and reporting skills.
- A full UK driving licence.

- First Aid at Work
- Fire Marshal Training
- Scaffold Awareness
- CSCS Card (Manager Level preferred)
