Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Wheelie Bin Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards for waste bins in residential and commercial areas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring bins are hygienic, odour-free, and presentable, contributing to a cleaner environment for the community. A valid driving licence and good communication skills are essential for this position.
Duties
- Operate cleaning equipment to thoroughly sanitise wheelie bins on scheduled routes
- Drive between different locations, ensuring timely collection and cleaning of bins
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding service schedules and any special requirements
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all work activities
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed during operations
- Report any issues or damages with bins or equipment to the supervisor promptly
- Keep accurate records of completed work and route progress
Experience
- Previous experience in driving or customer service roles is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during daily routes
- Friendly attitude with a focus on delivering excellent customer service
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift light equipment as needed
