About the role
We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our London office (near London Bridge). This is an exciting client-facing role, responsible for managing projects from inception through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the agreed quality standards.
You will act as project lead and as an employer’s agent, coordinating all aspects of project delivery, including programme management, documentation, and team coordination. You’ll oversee the preparation and administration of contracts (JCT and NEC), manage tender processes, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle. You will chair design team meetings, maintain excellent client relationships, and provide guidance on contract matters to support smooth project delivery.
Additionally, you’ll assist with post-project reviews, lessons learned and contribute to business development by supporting bids and the growth of new clients and sectors.
Key Responsibilities
You’ll work as part of a collaborative team to deliver a full range of project management consultancy services, including:
· Act as project manager lead with support from senior team members.
· Understand and deliver the client’s brief.
· Identify and agree solutions to client and consultant challenges.
· Chair project and design team meetings and distribute minutes.
· Prepare and issue project programmes, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
· Coordinate the project team, client, and contractor efficiently, setting targets and delivering milestones on time.
· Update project programmes and documentation as required.
· Present written progress reports to clients and line managers.
· Deliver projects in line with client expectations for time, budget, and quality.
· Assist project team with tender processes and project bids.
· Chair post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions.
· Administer the building contract.
About you
You’re an experienced Project Manager with a strong technical understanding of construction, a people-first approach, and excellent communication skills. You take pride in delivering high-quality work, building trusted relationships, and supporting great outcomes for your clients and team. You are self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage your own workload while contributing to a collaborative environment.
Essential
- +3 years’ experience in a project management role, preferably within a consultancy or main contractor environment.
- Knowledge and experience of JCT and NEC contracts, including Contract Administration.
- Strong technical understanding of the construction process (including RIBA stages, roles, and responsibilities)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills (oral and written)
- Confident using Microsoft Office
- Willing to travel regularly to sites across London
Preferred
- Experience working for or with a developer or main contractor
- Industry related degree level qualification or working towards
