Hygiene Operative:
We're looking for a new team member to support our hygiene team, Monday to Friday afternoon/ evening shift.
We are looking for a full time operative 12:00noon - 8:30pm.
The hygiene team works closely alongside our production team to ensure all equipment and machines are cleaned to the highest standard.
Duties include:
- Power-washing
- Operating industrial floor cleaning machines
- Stripping/cleaning/rebuilding machines, ensuring they are available to be used by production as needed
- Participate in the routine cleaning of the equipment and machinery within the bakery, including manual handling, lifting and moving machinery and equipment, in order to ensure that all appliances are thoroughly cleaned
- To maintain a clean, safe and tidy environment throughout the bakery
- To ensure safe working practices are adopted at all times in accordance with Safety, Health and Environmental policies, procedures and legislation
- To strictly follow detailed cleaning procedures
- Complete all necessary records timely and accurately
- Use cleaning chemicals and detergents safely and correctly
- Removing of waste bins when needed and separating rubbish for recycling
- Any other duties as requested by the Manager
Potential for progression to team leader/supervisor!
While experience would be an advantageous, especially in a similar environment, full training will be provided.
