We are looking for a compassionate, reliable and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our dedicated team at Rosebank Care Home.
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding, person-centred care to our residents. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help ensure residents receive the highest standards of care, dignity and respect throughout your shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal care and support to residents in line with their individual care plans.
- Lead and supervise the care team, ensuring the smooth running of the shift.
- Act as the senior member of staff on duty, providing guidance, support and leadership to Care Assistants.
- Safely administer medication in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor residents' wellbeing and accurately maintain care records.
- Promote a safe, caring and positive environment for residents, relatives and colleagues.
- Ensure care is delivered in line with CQC standards and company policies.
Hours
- 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
- Shift Pattern: 8:00am – 8:00pm
- Shifts are worked on a rota basis, including weekends.
What We're Looking For
- Level 2 qualification in Adult Health & Social Care (or above).
- Previous experience working as a Senior Care Assistant or in a similar supervisory care role.
- Medication administration experience
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A caring, compassionate and professional approach to supporting older people.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional standards of care.
Successful applicants will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS check.
