The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Digital Commerce Manager to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop hands-on experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, online merchandising, customer experience, and business operations.
You will receive training and mentorship while supporting the day-to-day management of our online store and digital sales channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and updating the company website and online store.
- Upload and maintain product listings, descriptions, images, and pricing.
- Monitor website performance and customer engagement metrics.
- Support digital marketing campaigns across social media, email marketing, and paid advertising platforms.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Assist in analysing sales performance and preparing reports.
- Support SEO and content optimisation initiatives.
- Help improve customer experience and website conversion rates.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams regarding product availability and promotions.
- Stay updated on e-commerce trends and recommend new growth opportunities.
Skills & Qualifications
Essential
- Strong interest in e-commerce and digital business.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
- Knowledge of Shopify, WooCommerce, or other e-commerce platforms.
- Familiarity with Meta Ads, Google Ads, SEO, or social media marketing.
- Experience with Canva, content creation, or digital marketing tools.
- Business, Marketing, or Digital Commerce-related education.

Salary
Unpaid for first 6 months.
