We are looking to change and improve the lives of young adults with Learning Disabilites and Autism. We are looking for an innovative and creative workers to help support adults with learning disabilities. This is across a few settings, supported living homes, people in thier own flats and people living at home. All needing high levels of support. We are looking in Bexhill for a lady who has 24 hours a day support in her own flat - 1-1. This is 14.5 hour days and 9.5 night (sleepins). Great for the right person. Must be female (equality act excempt based on needs).
The role of a Lifeskills Development Coach (support worker) is to offer a variety of support via training, teaching and coaching to young adults with Learning Disabilities so that they can increase their independence and lead an exciting and fulfilling life. We need your help and creativity to support someone to have the best life they can, to learn new things, to work in a team, to be active and to make people 'smile'. The role is based around the needs of the young adults and a rota that suits them - but is important to us that it is also supportive of your life and your wellbeing!
