The Lung Cancer Screening (LCS) Performance & Pathway Manager will be responsible for the daily administrative and planning management and co-ordination of the LCS Programme including logistical management of Mobile CT including Scanner Capacity and location, PCA screeners part of the Lung Health Check (LHC) assessments, CT Appointments, Failsafe, and Administrative processes including data analysis and providing reports.

Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.
The post holder will work closely with the Ops manager and Strategic Lead, responsible clinicians, Clinical Nurse Managers and Nursing team to ensure successful development and implementation of the Programmes Action plans and delivery of all national standards in order to provide accurate advice and guidance to support performance.
The post holder will be responsible for the direct managerial leadership to the Bookings Team, Failsafe Team and Administration Team as well as having oversight of the operational management of the Lung Cancer Screening Programme.
The post holder will ensure that appropriate documentation is produced for all aspects of performance, across the Programme and will manage the preparation of papers for key meetings.
The post holder will ensure that all mandatory data is completed in a timely manner before deadline dates.

Lead, scope and plan the delivery of current pathways against the National LCS Protocol and Quality Standards for optimal timed pathways.
Collaborate with the Primary Care, Secondary Care and Private Providers in the delivery of the patient pathways.
Support the Strategic Lead and Programme Manager and LCS programme manager with specific work streams relating to National and local transformation projects.
Manage process, change documents and systems, reporting to the Strategic Lead and Programme Manager the on all achievements, challenges, and progress.
Manage daily workload and have oversight of LCS Bookings performance against all National standards.
Manage the Daily Capacity of the screeners and Mobile CT Unit to optimise utilisation and maximise efficiency.
Provide senior manager support and leadership to the Team Leaders, Navigator, Failsafe Lead, Bookings Team members and the Admin Support Team.
Deputise for the Programme Ops Manager during periods of absence.
Work in partnership with the Informatics Department to provide specialty reports which feedback performance to the Management teams.
Responsibility for the Patient Safety aspect from a Failsafe perspective, Ensuring that patients are appropriately recalled for follow up within the Quality Standard timescales.
