Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Plater/Fabricator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the production of durable, high-quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of parts.
- Use TIG welding techniques along with welding methods to join metal components securely.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materials.
- Measure materials accurately using basic math skills to ensure proper fit and alignment.
- Perform welding tasks with attention to quality standards, ensuring strong, clean welds on various metal types.
- Assemble fabricated parts into finished products according to specifications, maintaining quality control throughout the process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in TIG welding and general fabrication within a manufacturing or workshop setting.
- Familiarity with welding techniques is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal fabrication is essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks during fabrication processes.
- Prior experience in assembly processes is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
