About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, organised and enthusiastic General Operations Assistant to join our team.
This is a varied, hands-on position primarily involving document scanning, asset tagging, data entry and IT equipment administration.
You will also have the opportunity to support other areas of the business, including preparing and installing PCs and laptops, stock and equipment management, office moves and occasionally assisting our teams at client sites.
You don't need to be an IT expert. We're looking for someone who is confident using computers, has excellent attention to detail, communicates well and, most importantly, has a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Full training will be provided for our systems, processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing and scanning documents accurately.
- Checking scanned documents for quality and completeness.
- Naming, indexing and organising electronic files.
- Asset tagging PCs, laptops, monitors and other equipment.
- Recording serial numbers and maintaining accurate asset records.
- Updating and maintaining Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
- General data entry and administration.
- Stock checking and equipment inventory management.
- Preparing PCs, laptops, monitors and peripherals for deployment.
- Assisting with the installation and removal of IT equipment.
- Packing, unpacking and organising IT and other equipment.
- Supporting engineers and other team members with projects.
- Assisting with office moves and equipment relocations.
- Occasionally attending client sites to assist with installations, asset audits, equipment deployment and other operational tasks.
- Undertaking other reasonable duties as required to support the day-to-day operation of the company.
What We're Looking For

Previous experience in document scanning, administration, asset management, IT equipment, stock control or logistics would be advantageous but is not essential, as training will be provided.
A full UK driving licence would be advantageous due to occasional client site work.
Pay: From £25,837.50 per year
