Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CSCS Painter and Decorator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint and decorative finishes to a variety of surfaces, transforming spaces with precision and creativity. Your expertise will help enhance the aesthetic appeal and protect surfaces in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and decorative finishes with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Use a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, sprayers, and scaffolding safely and effectively.
- Follow project specifications and safety guidelines to complete work efficiently within deadlines.
- Communicate clearly with team members and clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste responsibly.
- Inspect finished work for quality assurance, making touch-ups as needed to achieve a flawless finish.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction painting and decorating with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Ability to operate painting tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and various types of paints and finishes.
- Valid driving license preferred for transportation between sites.
- Excellent communication skills in English to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Familiarity with safety procedures on construction sites is essential.
