Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Day of Event Coordinator to lead the execution of our special events. Duties
- Oversee all event activities on the day of the event, ensuring seamless execution from setup to teardown
- Coordinate with vendors, caterers, staff, and volunteers to confirm timing and responsibilities
- Manage guest arrivals, registrations, and direct attendees to their designated areas with professionalism and warmth
- Handle on-site problem-solving promptly to address any unforeseen issues or last-minute changes
- Assist with upselling opportunities by promoting additional services or upgrades during the event
- Maintain a detailed timeline and checklist to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule
- Support fundraising efforts by engaging with guests and encouraging participation in donation activities
Skills
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Exceptional communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, staff, and guests
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or event planning environments preferred
- Proven ability in upselling services or products to enhance guest experience and revenue
- Knowledge of guest services standards and hospitality best practices
- Ability to manage multiple moving parts while maintaining attention to detail
