Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Grab Driver - Class 2 and become a vital part of delivering electrical utility upgrades. JOin our team and service the works with materials and clear the muck away, the maximum milage per day is around 50 miles, the yard is close to the works and we have a 5 year framework in palace, long placement for the right operative with the potential to go full time down the line.
Duties
- Safely operate a Class 2 Grab Tipper
- Load, secure, and unload goods efficiently, ensuring cargo integrity during transit
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
- Deliver goods to designated locations with professionalism and excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle records, and documentation of all transactions
- Communicate proactively with dispatchers regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes
- must be willing to work in a team and willing to take instruction
Qualifications
- Valid Class 2 driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a commercial driver or delivery driver, MUST have a grab ticket (ALMI)
- Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic regulation.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading/unloading cargo and securing loads on flatbeds
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude toward customer service
Pay: £180.00-£200.00 per day
