We are looking for experienced External Finishers (Temporary) to join our teams on a busy project in Lower Herne. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality external works, ensuring all finishing aspects of groundwork and infrastructure packages are completed to specification, on time, and to an excellent standard.
Duration 2 weeks
Carrying out external finishing works including kerbs, edgings, paving, slabs, and concrete surfaces
Ensuring all external finishes are completed accurately to line, level, and specification
Completing snagging works and conducting final quality checks on external packages
Installing, adjusting, and finishing manholes, covers, and frames
Trowelling, patching, and making good concrete and finished surfaces
Working from drawings and specifications to achieve high-quality finishes
Supporting site teams to bring external works to completion
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working area
Following all site health & safety procedures at all times
CSCS Card (essential)
Proven experience as an External Finisher within groundworks or construction projects
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
Ability to read and interpret site drawings
Good understanding of levels, alignment, and finishing standards
Strong awareness of site health & safety
Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively within a team
Right to work in the UK

CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) tickets*

Experience in kerbing, paving and external finishing works

Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques

Experience using laser levels or setting out equipment

Dumper / Roller / Excavator tickets

5+ years of experience in groundworks or finishing roles

Established gangs or teams with a strong track record
