About Us
The Ballinluig Inn is a well‑established, independently run inn located in the heart of Highland Perthshire. We offer a relaxed, friendly environment with a strong local customer base and a steady flow of visitors throughout the year. We are now seeking a committed couple to join our team in a combined live‑in role.
Position 1: Live‑In Manager (Full‑Time)
The Live‑In Manager will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operation of the inn, ensuring smooth service and a consistently high standard of hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily bar and restaurant operations
- Deliver excellent customer service and guest experience
- Manage bookings, check‑ins, and front‑of‑house duties
- Support and supervise staff as required
- Maintain operational standards, cleanliness, and compliance
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and light administrative tasks
- Act as the primary on‑site point of responsibility
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous hospitality or management experience
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and handle responsibility
- Confident, organised, and customer‑focused
- Flexible and hands‑on approach
Position 2: General Assistant Partner (Part‑Time)
A flexible support role working across multiple areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Housekeeping and room preparation
- Bar and restaurant service
- Kitchen assistance
- General duties to support the smooth running of the inn
Essential Skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to work as part of a small team
