Painter & Decorator

£36,000 per annum
Full Time – 40 Hours per week
At Atlas Workplace Services, we're looking for a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team in Central London.
Working within a prestigious higher education building, you'll carry out a mix of planned and reactive decorating works, helping to maintain a high-quality environment for our client and building users.

️ What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out painting and decorating tasks to a high professional standard
- Preparing surfaces, including sanding, filling, and priming where required
- Applying paints, varnishes, and other finishes with precision and attention to detail
- Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures
- Maintaining clean and tidy working areas throughout and upon completion of works
- Liaising with colleagues and site stakeholders to minimise disruption to building occupants
Minimum Qualifications, Certifications and Training required
- Qualified Painter and Decorator
- NVQ level 3 in given trades
- Fully time served apprenticeship in given trades. (Desirable)
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience for this role
- 2 years previous experience within similar environment and in particular across area multi sites and multi discipline service delivery.
- 1 years’ experience in customer facing outsourcing environment.
- Background in mobile engineering/property maintenance.
- Good understanding of modern office software.
- Experience of working with asset/work management systems such as MAXIMO / CAFM systems on Android tablets.
- Strong, demonstrable competencies in building services trades
