Key Responsibilities
- Execute tasks assigned by managers in accordance with risk assessments and method statements.
- Ensure completion of all site paperwork as required within the necessary timescales.
- Operate and supervise machinery and tools safely and competently in accordance with their training .
- Conduct pre-use checks on all equipment and report defects immediately.
- Maintain a safe, tidy, and efficient working environment on site.
- Ensure works are completed on time and to specification.
- Maximise productivity while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Attend and actively participate in toolbox talks, site briefings, and training sessions.
- Sign and comply with all relevant permits and briefings before commencing work.

Essential

SMSTS, SSSTS or ROLO Supervisor qualification
- LANTRA and/or NPTC qualifications relevant to the role
- Valid CSCS Card
- PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification for rail-related work
- First Aid at Work qualification (including Forestry First Aid where applicable)
Desirable Criteria
- Leadership or Management qualification/training (e.g. ILM Level 3 or above)
