Duties
- Assess vehicle damage accurately and develop effective repair plans to restore structural integrity and appearance
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, sanding, and painting preparation
- Execute heavy lifting tasks safely when handling large or awkward vehicle parts or panels
- Remove damaged parts carefully and install new or repaired components with precision
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency throughout the repair process
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle structures, body systems, and repair techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, pry bars, screwdrivers, and wrenches
- Experience operating power tools like sanders, drills, grinders, and spray guns
