HGV class 2 drivers urgently required.
A&F Haulage Ltd are one of the UK’s largest family-owned hauliers of minerals, asphalt and aggregate. Established for over 30 years, we work with all the major mineral and aggregate manufacturers in the UK. With over 10 depots across the UK we have experienced constant growth in our business through providing excellent service to our customers.
Due to experiencing increased routes and orders at our main depot in Bolton, we are looking to recruit HGV class 2 tipper drivers (preferably with experience, but not essential) for immediate start, on-going work. MPQC card is preferred but training can be provided. The work is all day shifts with optional paid overtime at weekend. The details are as follows:
· HGV class 2 licence essential
· 8-wheel tipper experience is preferred but not essential
· Day shifts – usual start 6am in Bolton
· Delivering aggregate, stone, asphalt etc to sites and construction locations
· MPQC card preferred (training can be provided to successful candidates)
· Full training and enhanced induction for suitable candidates
· Excellent pay – ‘take home’ pay of £110 per day/£550 per week
· Equivalent to annual salary C£35k basic plus overtime
· Paid 11-hour day with overtime after 11 (job and finish)
· Weekend shifts available at overtime premium
· Full PPE provided
· Immediate starts subject to an informal interview in Bolton and licence checks
· No DD, DR, DG or IN10, licence infringements accepted
