The role
As a Business Change Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering transformation across the Naval Nuclear sector. This is an opportunity to influence how people, teams and organisations successfully adapt to change, ensuring that major programmes deliver lasting benefits and achieve their strategic objectives.
Day-to-day, you’ll help leaders and teams embrace new capabilities, processes and ways of working. You'll combine stakeholder engagement, business readiness and change management expertise to drive successful adoption and embed sustainable change. In return, you'll gain exposure to high-profile transformation programmes that directly support national defence and security, while developing your own leadership, consulting and change management capabilities.
Developing and implementing change management and business readiness plans that support organisational transformation.
Engaging with leaders, managers and stakeholders to build commitment, understanding and adoption of change.
Facilitating workshops, impact assessments and engagement activities to support successful programme delivery.
Assessing change impacts, risks and dependencies and implementing mitigation strategies where required.
Supporting the delivery of transformation benefits through effective communication, behavioural change and continuous improvement.
This role is full time, and is based on site at HMNB Clyde, in Helensburgh, Argyll and Bute.
Essential experience of the Business Change Manager
Experience delivering complex business change, transformation or organisational change programmes.
Strong knowledge of change management methodologies, tools, frameworks and best practice.
Experience developing and implementing business readiness and change adoption plans.
Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and relationship-building skills across multiple organisational levels.
Experience facilitating workshops, impact assessments and change engagement activities while managing change-related risks and issues.
Qualifications for the Business Change Manager
Essential
Prosci Certified Change Practitioner qualification (or equivalent Level 5 qualification).
Preferred
APMG Change Management qualification (or equivalent Level 5 qualification).
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be a sole UK National who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
