About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, organised and professional Admin Assistant to support the daily running of our tuition centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling parent enquiries, maintaining accurate records, supporting student registrations, and helping ensure the centre runs smoothly.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident speaking to parents, has strong attention to detail, and can work well in a busy educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming parents, students and visitors in a polite and professional manner.
- Answering phone calls, messages and emails from parents.
- Responding to enquiries about tuition, timetables, fees and registration.
- Supporting with student enrolment and maintaining student records.
- Updating attendance records and following up on absences where required.
- Helping manage parent payments, invoices and payment reminders.
- Organising student documents, forms and learning materials.
- Assisting with classroom lists, timetables and daily centre organisation.
- Supporting tutors and management with general administrative tasks.
- Keeping the reception and admin area organised and presentable.
- Ensuring confidential information is handled appropriately.
- Reporting any concerns or issues to the Centre Manager.
Requirements
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident using phones, emails and basic computer systems.
- Ability to work calmly in a busy environment.
- Professional, polite and friendly manner.
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
- Previous admin, receptionist or customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience working in a school, tuition centre or childcare setting is desirable but not essential.

Working Hours
Working hours will be agreed based on the needs of the centre. Some evening and weekend availability may be required.
Safeguarding
The tuition centre is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The successful candidate may be required to complete a DBS check and follow the centre’s safeguarding policies and procedures.
Pay: £12.75-£13.50 per hour
