About the Role
We are looking for a high-energy, enthusiastic and creative Early Years Performing Arts Teacher to join our Poppets team, working with children aged 4–6.
Our Poppets sessions are full of singing, dancing, drama, games, movement and imaginative play. We are looking for someone who can bring energy, warmth and enthusiasm into the room from the moment the children arrive, creating an environment where they feel excited, confident and supported.
Energy & Personality
A high level of energy and enthusiasm is essential for this role.
We are looking for someone who is naturally bubbly, animated, positive and engaging, and who genuinely enjoys working with young children.
You should be confident getting involved, being expressive, leading activities and bringing lots of enthusiasm to the room. You will need to be able to capture the attention of a group of 4–6-year-olds and keep them engaged throughout the session.
We also want someone who brings positive energy to the team as well as to the children. You will be joining a supportive team, so being friendly, approachable, reliable and willing to work collaboratively is really important to us.

- Be warm, encouraging and supportive.
- Enjoy leading activities and taking the initiative.
- Be confident managing a lively group of young children.
- Be able to maintain positive behaviour while keeping sessions fun.
- Be confident leading singing, dancing, movement, drama, games and imaginative play.
- Be creative and able to adapt activities to suit different children.
- Have excellent communication skills with children, parents and colleagues.
- Be reliable, organised and professional.
