Job Summary
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team for Brighton Pride Weekend (1st-2nd August). We are a busy restaurant/takeaway opposite the i360 on Brighton seafront. Our menu offers vegan alternatives to a traditional fish and chip shop menu and we are looking for staff that will be passionate about working for a vegan business.
Hospitality/kitchen/catering experience is preferred but a keen attitude and willingness to learn is more important.
This Role Requires you to:
- Have a willingness to learn new processes and food safety/hygiene standards by completing a simple paid on-the-job training period, shadowing current stafff members.
- Work in a fast paced kitchen environment with an ability to adapt to the requirements of the day and help where needed. Supporting the kitchen with plating, running orders and basic KP work.
- Take time to understand allergens/dietary requirements and be able to discuss these with customers confidently. We hope candidates would be passionate about the vegan menu/ethos of No Catch and engage positively with customers about this.
- Help maintain a clean and presentable working environment.
- Have a hard working attitude with an eagerness to work as part of a small but committed team.
- Provide excellent customer service in a busy restaurant environment. We use a hybrid service style and would require staff to be competent with a till/card machine/running orders to tables promptly.

Availability/Anticipated hours
- Candidates would need to be available both days of the pride weekend.
- Whilst this is currently a temp position, strong candidates could be contacted for future cover work or asked to stay on with the team.
