Duties
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages and a variety of teas with precision and flair
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions, and provide exceptional service to enhance their experience
- Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or snacks according to health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including counters, equipment, and dining spaces
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including processing transactions and giving correct change
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure all products meet hygiene standards
- Support team members during busy periods by taking on additional duties such as restocking supplies or assisting in food prep
Requirements
- Previous barista experience with coffee-making equipment is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling
- Ability to serve customers promptly with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
