Global Content Coordinator

About the Role
Kids Operating Room is looking for a proactive, organised and creative Global Content Coordinator to help tell the stories of the children, surgeons and hospitals we work with around the world.
You'll develop and coordinate our global story-gathering network - working with colleagues and partners across multiple countries to make sure every project we support is backed by high-quality photography, video and patient stories. You'll be the central point of contact for content across the organisation, and part of a small, high-output Communications team where your work reaches a global audience.
What You'll Do
● Coordinate the collection of photography, video and patient stories from our projects around the world.
● Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, hospital teams and content-gatherers across multiple countries.
● Work with local teams to identify compelling stories, and draft clear content briefs for photographers, clinicians and partners.
● Maintain project trackers so content is delivered on time, keeping contributors and stakeholders on track.
● Support Communications and Fundraising colleagues with stories and assets for campaigns, appeals and donor communications.
● Help manage our digital asset library, keeping content organised, tagged and easy for colleagues to find - and keeping consent and image-rights records accurate.
What We're Looking For
● Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
● Strong written and verbal communication skills.
● Confidence building relationships with people from different cultures and professional backgrounds.
● A proactive, solution-focused approach - comfortable following up and keeping things moving.
● Excellent attention to detail, especially with sensitive information and consent.
● A genuine interest in storytelling and the difference it can make.
Experience with global health, international development or the charity sector is a plus, as is familiarity with digital asset management tools - but not essential.

Pay: £25,000.00 per year
