An exciting new vacancy has arisen within Chelford Surgery to help manage administrative workflows within the practice and is a hybrid role to support both the practice secretaries and the administration workflow team for document management. The role gives an opportunity to help shape the future of document workflow processes in the practice, and be part of a forward thinking team.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the role are to manage the incoming patient related documentation to the practice. Organise the scanning and filing to the patient clinical record, ensuring that it is sent to the appropriate clinician or team for further review and coding.
You will be responsible for assisting the Administration Management Team and Clinical lead to implement a new process of workflow for documentation. You will then continue delivering the workflow processes as part of the team.

Managing workflow tasks according to set protocols
Clinical coding and summarising patient records
Handling inbound and outbound post
Document management amendments
Coding of school immunisations
Redacting patient information where required
Type and format dictated letters
Formation of letters transcribed by GP
Completion of Urgent and 2 WW referrals
Drafting, editing and formatting documents and reports
Sending referrals and following up on outstanding or rejected referrals
Chasing appointments and expediting when clinically required
Processing, advice and guidance requests
Pay: From £25,420.00 per year
