About the role
As a Mental Health Recovery Worker, you'll be part of a supportive team providing person-centred support across our supported living service in Norwich (NR2) and within the North and South Norfolk community.
Your role will be varied. You'll work alongside people to understand what matters to them, identify their goals and support them to take the steps towards greater independence and wellbeing.
You'll:
- Build positive, trusting relationships with the people you support
- Provide practical and emotional support based around individual needs and goals
- Encourage confidence, independence, choice and control
- Support people to develop life skills and engage with their communities
- Work alongside individuals to create and review recovery plans, safety plans and risk assessments
- Help people recognise their strengths, achieve their goals and make positive changes
- Work closely with colleagues and other professionals to provide joined-up support
No two days will be the same – and you'll have the opportunity to genuinely see the impact of your work.
Where you'll work
You'll work across our supported living service in Norwich (NR2) and out in the North Norfolk community.
We're a hybrid team, so you'll also spend at least two days each week at our Bakery Court base, working alongside colleagues and being part of the wider team.

You might already have experience in:
Mental health, social care, supported living, housing, homelessness, rehabilitation, substance misuse or community support.

The practical bits
You'll need:
- A full UK driving licence
- Access to a vehicle for work – mileage is paid at 55p per mile
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays on a rolling rota
