Must have own tools, transport, PPE and preferably DBS checked
Duties
- Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete using hand tools, power tools, and trowels to achieve desired textures and finishes
- Set forms and molds accurately to ensure proper dimensions and alignment for concrete structures
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment such as mixers, screeds, and vibrators to facilitate efficient pouring and setting of concrete
- Apply finishing techniques including edging, brooming, stamping, or polishing to enhance surface appearance and durability
- Conduct inspections of completed work for quality control, ensuring surfaces are level, smooth, and free of defects
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role in commercial or residential construction projects
- Proficiency with hand tools (trowels, floats), power tools (vibrators, grinders), and mechanical knowledge related to concrete finishing equipment
- Ability to operate heavy lifting equipment safely and efficiently
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing long hours, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
