What are we offering?

- A competitive salary of £31,320 per year, equivalent to £120 per day
- Working hours from 0900hrs to 1900hrs, some flexibility is to be expected due to the nature of the business and job role.

What will I be doing?
Our yard staff are responsible for moving freight in a safe and professional manner you’ll be:
- Ensuring vehicles are correctly and loaded, safely and in-line with road and transport legislation.
- Loading pallet goods coming in all shapes and sizes onto our vehicles ready for their deliveries.
- Offloading collection pallets for night trunking.
- Professionally interacting with customers and staff with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Completing daily maintenance checks on your vehicle and reporting any issues via our dedicated app.
- Driving in inclement weather, such as light snow, heavy rain etc.
- Always Adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Picking and packing of customer orders.
- Moving materials and equipment around the yard and warehouse.
- Keeping the warehouse and yard tidy and organised.
What we are looking for?
- You'll need to be a team player who is able to work with others, resourceful with drive and enthusiasm.
- Previous experience of working in a Warehouse is preferred but in no way essential, your aptitude and attitude are what makes you different from the rest.
- Ability and knowledge of lifting and handling procedures.
- Have the appropriate Counterbalance License
- Work well independently using initiative and common sense.
- must be able to work under pressure.
- Must be able to undertake a physically demanding role.
- Open and transparent communication both verbal and written.
- The successful candidate will be safety focused, ensuring work is completed in a safe and professional manner.
