Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (flexibility required)
Salary: £25,987.41 per annum, paid monthly.
We're looking for a Transport Bookings Clerk to join our team at Lineage Heywood.
In this role, you'll coordinate transport bookings for deliveries and collections, ensuring customer requirements are met and bookings are completed accurately and on time. Working closely with our Customer Service and Transport Planning teams, you'll play an important part in keeping our operation running smoothly while delivering excellent customer service.
Book customer deliveries and collections via telephone, email and online booking portals.
Ensure all bookings are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
Work closely with the Customer Service and Transport Planning teams to meet customer requirements.
Maintain clear, professional communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
Ensure all delivery and collection bookings are completed before the planned transport date.
Support the Transport Planning team to help achieve an efficient daily operation.
A professional and confident telephone manner.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail.
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Good computer skills and confidence learning new systems.
A positive attitude and a team-focused approach.
