Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Transport Administrator to join our small, friendly team. This is a varied role that supports the Transport team in day-to-day activities to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our transport operations. In addition, the role includes providing front of house reception duties for the wider business.
We will soon be moving to a brand new, state-of-the art site in Wednesbury, making this an exciting time to join our growing business and a fantastic opportunity to help shape how we do things.

Our export operations service customers across West and East Africa, Pakistan, India, UAE and Europe. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic Transport Administrator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, proficiency in computer applications, and excellent phone etiquette.
Responsibilities
- Organise and prioritise administrative tasks to support the transportation team effectively
- Assist with filing, record keeping, and other clerical duties as required
- Monitor and update transport-related databases with precise information
- Support the preparation of reports related to transportation activities
- Provide an excellent customer service to our customers and visitors
- Assist in the monitoring of performance of third-party contractors
· Assisting in the coordination of textile collections across the entire JMP Wilcox network.
Requirements
- Proven office experience with strong organisational skills
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
- Previous administrative or clerical experience is essential
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Good phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in all tasks
