Artisa Spa is currently recruiting experienced waxing specialists who excel at hair removal using hot and strip wax. Basic knowledge of massage, facial treatments, and body scrubs/wraps is welcome but optional.

SHIFTS & AVAILABILITY:
- We offer 6-hour shifts only.
- Monday to Saturday shifts: 10 am - 4 pm & 4 pm - 10 pm
- Sunday shifts: 10 am - 3 pm & 3 pm - 8 pm
- There are no guaranteed breaks during these shifts.
- Minimum interval between clients is 10 minutes.
- We issue the rota one month in advance.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- You must be proficient in waxing and should be able to work fast under pressure.
- A Hollywood or Brazilian should take you less than 20 minutes.
- You must be able to communicate in English.
- You must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
- You must hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent or an accredited course.
CONTRACT & PAYMENT
- Pay is commission-based.
- Your starting rate will be £22/hr of treatments provided. Payment applies only for the time spent delivering treatments.
- Your rate will increase by £1/hr for every calendar year you stay with us, beginning from the day your contract starts.
- As a courtesy, we provide a £50 minimum guarantee per 6-hour shift (and the equivalent for shorter/longer time periods).
- This is a services contract, so you will be self-employed.
- Payments are calculated weekly and paid to your bank account every Thursday.
- The first two payments are kept as a security deposit and are paid back to you once the 30-day notice period of your contract is served.

Responsibilities and Duties:
You will consult with our clients to understand their treatment goals, manage their expectations, provide effective beauty treatments and advise them on their condition and how our services can help.
You must be able to advocate and explain treatment plans (where beneficial), schedule follow-up appointments at the optimum frequency, provide quality aftercare advice, and build relationships with each client.
We expect you to grow and maintain a client base by supporting our clients through their individual needs and by upselling further regular treatment plans and packages at a frequency that offers preventative care.
You are responsible for the professionalism required to provide consistent and effective treatments and self-care habits while presenting in the necessary physical, mental and emotional state. Investing in skill gaps will enable you to enjoy a fully booked schedule within two weeks of joining our team.
We promise to furnish you with all the equipment, marketing, services and facilities to grow and maintain a fully booked schedule within Artisa Spa.
Our spa manager is available for advice on client care, knowledge sharing and skills in client relationship management.
