We are a busy, customer-focused hotel committed to providing a high standard of accommodation, food, and service. The maintenance team plays a vital role in ensuring our guests enjoy a safe, comfortable, and well-presented environment at all times.
The Role
As a Hotel Maintenance Team Member, you will be responsible for helping maintain the hotel's buildings, grounds, guest bedrooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out day-to-day repairs and maintenance tasks
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests from departments
- Maintaining guest rooms and public areas to a high standard
- Assisting with preventative maintenance programmes
- Monitoring plant and equipment
- Supporting health and safety compliance across the property
- Liaising with contractors where required
- Helping ensure our hotel remains welcoming, safe, and fully operational
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has good general maintenance and DIY skills
- Is practical, proactive, and able to work independently
- Takes pride in delivering high standards
- Has basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, decorating, or carpentry work
- Is organised and able to prioritise tasks
- Has a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a team
- Understands the importance of guest satisfaction
Previous hotel, hospitality, facilities, or property maintenance experience would be advantageous but is not essential for the right candidate.
