Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator to oversee the administrative functions of Unitrak Powderflight Ltd, a small, established manufacturer of dry bulk material handling equipment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office, providing excellent customer service, and supporting colleagues across the business. This position requires strong communication skills, sound judgement, and IT proficiency. This is an on-site role, remote or hybrid work is not available.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily administrative operations to ensure the office runs efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and maintain office procedures to support productivity across the business.
- Provide excellent customer service to our customers and suppliers.
- Process sales orders and invoicing from start to finish, liaise with couriers and suppliers to coordinate deliveries.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation across all administrative processes.
- Assist in the preparation of quotation and tender submissions as required.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in an administrative role is essential, ideally gained within a manufacturing, engineering, or similar environment.
- Strong, confident IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, and Outlook; experience with CRM and accounting systems (we use Zoho CRM and Zoho Books) is a strong advantage.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently and with minimal supervision.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- A demonstrated track record of delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining professional relationships.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving, with strong attention to detail.
- Able to hit the ground running and adapt quickly to our systems and ways of working.

Salary: £26,000 - £29,000 per year (depending on experience)
25 days holiday per year plus Bank Holidays
