Overview
We are looking for a reliable and flexible Customer Service Assistant to join our busy team. This is a multi-skilled role where you will be the face of our station, ensuring every customer leaves with a smile while keeping our shop and forecourt running smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a key member of our retail team, you will handle a variety of tasks, including:
- Greeting customers warmly and providing fast, friendly service at the till.
- Accurately processing fuel, shop, and lottery payments using our POS system.
- Accepting deliveries, replenishing shelves, and ensuring the shop is always well-stocked.
- Monitoring the forecourt, authorising pumps, and strictly following health, safety, and fire procedures.
- Keeping both the shop floor and the forecourt area clean, tidy, and safe for everyone.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries via phone, email, or live chat.
- Promote additional products or services through upselling techniques to maximise customer engagement.
- Maintain high standards of phone etiquette and communication skills during all interactions.
- Assist customers with troubleshooting issues and resolving complaints efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent service delivery across all channels.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
Shift Patterns & Availability:
We operate 24/7 and are looking for candidates who can be flexible across our core shift times:
- Mornings: 07:00 – 15:00
- Afternoons: 15:00 – 23:00
- Nights: 23:00 – 07:00
- Evenings (Part-time/Support): 17:00 – 21:00

- Flexibility: You are willing to work a mix of the shifts listed above, including weekends.
- Reliable & Alert: You have a keen eye for detail, especially during busy periods or night shifts.
- Age Requirement: Due to petroleum licensing and age-restricted sales (tobacco), applicants must be 18 or older.
