Forklift Engineer

Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for solving problems on the move? We're looking for a Mobile Forklift Engineer to join our client's growing team, supporting customers across the Birmingham area.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Service, maintain and overhaul forklifts and material handling equipment
- Diagnose and repair faults on gas, diesel and electric trucks
- Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance
- Attend breakdowns and minimise customer downtime
- Work on hydraulics, brakes, steering, lift chains and drive systems
- Complete service records and provide excellent customer support
What We're Looking For:
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous experience with forklifts or material handling equipment
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
- Background in HGV, Plant, Construction, Agricultural, Automotive, REME or similar industries
- Ability to work independently and manage breakdown situations
- Solid electrical and mechanical engineering knowledge
