About Us
The JoCs Group is a successful property maintenance company providing cleaning, gardening and general maintenance services to residential blocks of flats. We work exclusively with property management companies and pride ourselves on delivering a professional and reliable service.
The Role
We are looking for a proactive, organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to support our Director and Management Team.
Previous administration experience is essential. We will not consider applications from candidates without relevant administration experience.
This is a busy and varied position. You will help keep the office running smoothly, support our site-based employees and ensure that enquiries and administrative tasks are handled accurately and professionally.
This is a fully office-based position in East Tilbury; working from home is not available.
Hours: 8am–4pm, Monday to Friday
Annual leave: 20 days, plus paid bank holidays
Salary: £26,500 starting salary
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls professionally and direct enquiries appropriately
- Support the Director and Management Team with daily administrative duties
- Assist with preparing and compiling tender documents
- Prepare memos, correspondence, reports and presentations
- Log staff on and off duty
- Provide administrative support to employees working on site
- Organise and maintain digital files, records and documents
- Update databases and complete data-entry tasks accurately
- Enter information into QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Schedule appointments and meetings
- Monitor office supplies and place orders when required
- Help improve administrative processes and overall office efficiency
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- A professional and confident telephone manner
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using Gmail, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
- The ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload
- The ability to work independently while supporting a wider team
- Have a friendly, outgoing attitude and be able to work as part of a strong, close team.
