We are seeking an experienced and proactive Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) to join us at an exciting point of development. This role extends beyond routine accuracy checking—it offers the opportunity to help shape and strengthen our dispensing and operational processes, supporting the ongoing evolution of our pharmacy services, including the implementation and delivery of advanced NHS and private pharmacy services.
As an ACT, you will be central to ensuring dispensing accuracy and patient safety, whilst also contributing to workflow optimisation, SOP implementation, and service improvement. This is an ideal role for an ACT with at least two years’ post-qualification experience who enjoys taking ownership and playing an active role in pharmacy operations.
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT)
- GPhC registration essential
- Previous experience in a community pharmacy setting desirable
- A professional, reliable, and patient-focused approach
Desirable:
- Experience supporting the delivery of advanced NHS services or private pharmacy services
- Experience supporting audits, inspections, or governance activities
- Interest in mentoring or supporting junior staff
- Experience working in evolving or high-volume pharmacy environments
