We are looking for an experienced team member to join our team.
The position requires the following skills
Food preparation to include -
Raw and cooked fish
Vegetables
Salads
Mayonnaise and butters
Sauces
Kitchen duties to include -
High standards of hygiene
A very good understanding of food safety
Must hold a recent food hygiene certificate
Excellent knife skills
Be able to work under pressure
To be quick and precise with given tasks
Be motivated and work well as part of a small team
Capable of prioritising tasks swiftly
Other duties -
Able to use a commercial dishwasher
Wash restaurant crockery, cookwares , dishes and utensils
Keep cleaning rotas up to date
Keeping all kitchen areas clean, tidy and organised
Empty Waste bin
Mop floors
Stock management
Safety compliance
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21-£13.75 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 34 per week
Experience:
- Food preparation: 3 years (required)
- Food hygiene: 3 years (required)
- Food safety: 3 years (required)
- Kitchen porter: 3 years (required)
