We are looking for a passionate and motivated Domiciliary Deputy Manager to support the delivery of outstanding home care services across the North West. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, values-led care provider where quality, compassion, and people are at the heart of everything we do.
As Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to help lead the service, support and develop staff, maintain compliance, and ensure clients receive safe, high-quality, person-centred care in their own homes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the day-to-day management of domiciliary care services
- Supervising and supporting care staff to deliver exceptional care
- Assisting with staff training, appraisals, spot checks, and performance management
- Helping to maintain full compliance with CQC standards and company policies
- Conducting care assessments, reviews, and risk assessments
- Managing care delivery to ensure high standards and excellent client satisfaction
- Building positive relationships with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and the wider community
- Supporting quality assurance audits and continuous service improvement
- Assisting with rota coordination and ensuring continuity of care
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Level 5 desirable)
- Previous supervisory or management experience within domiciliary care
- Good understanding of CQC regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Compassionate, organised, and proactive approach
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Competent IT skills and experience using care management systems
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
