Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Renderer to join our construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality finishes to building exteriors and interiors, transforming raw structures into visually appealing and durable surfaces. Your expertise will ensure that each project meets our standards for craftsmanship, safety, and aesthetic appeal. Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer to ensure optimal adhesion of finishing materials
- Use hand tools such as trowels, brushes, and scrapers to apply renderings, stucco, or plaster on walls, facades, and other surfaces
- Operate power tools including mixers, drills, and saws to mix materials and shape surfaces accurately
- Execute bricklaying and masonry tasks when required for structural or decorative purposes
- Collaborate with carpenters and roofers to ensure seamless integration of exterior finishes with structural components
- Follow safety protocols diligently while handling welding equipment or working at heights on scaffolding or roofs
- Inspect finished surfaces for quality control, making necessary touch-ups or corrections to meet project specifications
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, and brushes for detailed finishing work
- Strong knowledge of bricklaying, masonry techniques, and surface preparation methods
- Experience with power tools including mixers, drills, saws, and grinders for efficient material handling
- Solid understanding of carpentry principles relevant to exterior cladding and framing integration
- Ability to perform roofing tasks when required for exterior rendering projects
- Welding skills are a plus for specialized repair or reinforcement tasks involving metal components
- Excellent attention to detail combined with a commitment to safety standards in all aspects of work
