Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety standards and electrical codes
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform precise electrical work efficiently and safely
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they escalate
- Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and implement effective solutions promptly
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to coordinate complex projects
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accurately in logs and reports
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others
Experience
- Proven experience working as an Electrician or in a similar electrical role with hands-on technical skills
- Proficiency with hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, etc., for detailed work
- Skilled in operating power tools safely for installation and repair tasks
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics effectively
- Knowledge of current electrical codes and safety regulations is essential
- Prior experience in troubleshooting complex electrical issues is highly desirable
