Care Home Based | Permanent | Part Time | £15.50ph
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Care Assistants to join our care home team. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to residents, promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing
- Support and contribute to the development and review of Personal Care Plans
- Administer medication in line with policy (following competency-based training)
- Monitor residents’ wellbeing, record observations and escalate concerns appropriately
- Lead, support and supervise care team members, including spot checks and one-to-ones
- Manage day-to-day supervisory matters and contribute to audits and compliance
- Respond to emergencies and provide ongoing support to residents and families
About You:
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
- Recognised medication administration qualification and experience
- Previous experience in a care role
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Compassionate, resilient and committed to high standards of care
- Basic IT literacy
Flexibility is required to work weekends and bank holidays as part of a rota.
