Sidney Sussex College is seeking to appoint an AV Technician/Events Facilitator. Reporting to the Conference and Events Manager, this new post to the College offers an exciting opportunity to work within Sidney’s Conference and Events Team to deliver exceptional event and meeting experiences.
The role of AV Technician/Events Facilitator is to provide technical audio-visual support, event facilitation and customer service, ensuring all meeting rooms, conference spaces, and event venues are prepared to the highest standard, supporting clients and guests throughout their event journey.
This is a permanent, full-time post working 37.5 hours per week, willingness to adopt a flexible approach to working hours is required, including evenings and weekends is expected, and you may be required to work additional hours from time to time to fulfil the requirements of the role and the needs of the College, especially during major conferences and internal College meetings. The salary ranges from points 11 - 19 on the Sidney Sussex salary spine which equates to £28,504 per annum to £30,036 per annum (based on experience).

The College is also closed over the Christmas period.
