Job Summary
As s Self Employed Multi Drop Delivery Driver you'll take charge of delivering packages efficiently and reliably across your designated area. This role offers the flexibility of being self-employed while providing essential delivery services to our valued customers. As a key part of our logistics network, you'll enjoy the independence to manage your schedule, ensuring timely deliveries and excellent customer experiences. Duties
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles suitable for multi-drop deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and punctuality
- Load and unload parcels, including handling heavy lifting when necessary, with attention to safety procedures
- Communicate clearly with customers upon delivery, providing excellent service and addressing any questions or concerns
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for each drop
- Conduct vehicle inspections regularly to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
- Manage time effectively to complete all scheduled deliveries within designated timeframes
Requirements
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role, would be beneficial
- Valid UK or EU driver’s license or equivalent, with a clean driving record
- Abide manual handling techniques safely during loading and unloading processes
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently and manage time effectively
- Minimum 21 years old due to insurance conditions
