About the Apprenticeship
This isn't your ordinary apprenticeship. Delivered in conjunction with a recognised training provider based in Carlisle, over 8 months you'll work towards your HGV Class 1 (C+E) entitlement — a qualification that opens doors to a long-term, well-paid career on the road.
What You'll Learn
- Fleet maintenance
- Compliance administration, including drivers' hours and other transport legislation
- Transport operations
What You'll Gain
- HGV Class 1 (C+E) entitlement on successful completion of all tests and assessments
- Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) as part of your training

Progress Even Further
Once you've successfully gained your Class 1 (C+E) licence, there may be the opportunity to progress onto further training as a crane operator, leading to an ALLMI accredited qualification — opening up even more career opportunities within Team Bimson.
What We're Looking For
- A Level (or equivalent) in any subject — GCSEs only will also be considered
- GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English at Grade C / 4 or above
- A full UK car driving licence
