Summary
We are seeking an HR and Payroll Officer to join our dynamic team at Life Couriers UK. In this role, you will be responsible for generalist HR , responding to queries, onboarding and managing payroll processes , running monthly payroll and ensuring accurate and timely compensation for our employees. You will be also able to work and develop further in your HR .career as we grow and develop as a business . Your contributions will be vital in supporting our mission of delivering outstanding logistics services.
Responsibilities
- Generalist HR activities in recruitment, onboarding, performance management and resolving queries
- Process monthly payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Manage employee data within HRIS systems.
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits and deductions.
- Respond to payroll queries from employees and resolve issues promptly.
- Prepare payroll /HR reports for management review and analysis.
- Support audits related to payroll processes as needed.
- Be involved in full range of HR activities to cover all aspects of the employment relationship.
Requirements
- Good knowledge of human resources practices
- Familiarity with HRIS systems; experience with HR Health Box is a plus , and Sage 50 Payroll
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
